The Luton Matters Programme
The Luton Matters programme aims to provide financial support to organisations working on the ground in Luton to improve services in the town and provide positive outcomes and quality of life benefits for its residents. There are no further restrictions on the type of work or beneficiaries for this programme (i.e. it is not just for under-26s).

04/03/2026: Please note: Owing to the award of many multi-year grants in 2025, there will be only one opportunity for new applicants to apply in 2026. Expressions of Interest can be submitted during October/November (dates to be confirmed) which may lead to a potential award in March 2027. Please check our website from time to time for the full process and for updates.
The United Kingdom Under-26 Programme
The UK U-26 programme aims to support children and young people in any part of the UK except those within the Luton boundary. The emphasis is on creating educational and/or access opportunities for young people in circumstances, groups or locations that face economic challenges or social marginalisation that may lead to significant disadvantages in later life.
Please note: Owing to unsustainably high numbers of applications, this programme is now closed to new applications. In 2026, it will operate as a by invitation only programme. Please do not contact us asking to be put on the invitation list.
In 2026, applications for invited candidates will open on Tuesday 7 April at 3pm. Invited applicants will be asked to enter a password which will be supplied to them by the person who extended the invitation. Only applicants that enter the correct password will be progressed onto the full application form. Applications can be started up until noon on Wednesday 6 May. The closing date for submission is 23:59 on Wednesday 6 May.
