The NEW Luton Matters Fund

The NEW Luton Matters Fund aims to provide financial support to organisations working on the ground in Luton to improve services in the town and provide positive outcomes and quality of life benefits for its residents. There are no further restrictions on the type of work or beneficiaries for this fund (i.e. it is not just for under-26s).

Full guidance on this Fund can be found on our website.

09/06/2025: Please note: we have put a temporary pause on starting a new EOI for this fund from noon on 22 August, to allow sufficient time to get papers ready for the September meeting. Any EOIs that have been started need to be submitted by 23:59 on 25 August if you want them considered in September. Although the intention is to take further new ones until 30 September, we reserve the right not to take any further applications to this fund for the remainder of the year, depending on the volume received up to that point. Please keep an eye on this announcement as we approach the end of August.

The United Kingdom Under-26 Fund

The UK U-26 Fund aims to support children and young people in any part of the UK except those within the Luton boundary. The emphasis is on creating educational and/or access opportunities for young people in circumstances, groups or locations that face economic challenges or social marginalisation that may lead to significant disadvantages in later life.

Full guidance on this Fund can be found on our website.

You cannot apply for both funds in the same period. Applicants delivering work for children and young people in Luton should apply to the NEW Luton Matters Fund.
